Tokyo Tails
Grow treats, win the trust of every dog in an old Tokyo ward, and unlock the neighbourhood one warm street at a time.
No ads, no in-app purchases, and no tracking of any kind.
A slow game about patience and dogs
You have just moved into Kogane-yokocho, a sleepy old-town alley. The whole objective is warm and simple: befriend every dog in the ward.
-
Every dog is a person
Each one has a personality, a daily walk, a treat it secretly loves, and a life story that only opens up once it trusts you.
-
No combat, no fail states
Nothing to lose, no timer to miss, no dog you can scare away for good. The worst thing that happens is the day ends and you go to sleep.
-
The ward opens up
Earn enough hearts and a new neighbourhood unlocks, with its own mood, its own crops and recipes, and its own dogs waiting to be met.
Four moments
Real frames from the current build, in the order you live them.
Still in development, and sold that way
Tokyo Tails is a V1. It is a real, finished-enough game you can play from the first train ride onward, and it is also openly unfinished, actively being built, and it will keep changing after you buy it.
Concretely, that means:
- Some screens are rougher than others, and some are still being redrawn.
- Dogs, areas, crops and recipes are still being added.
- Updates land as they are ready, and they are included, not sold again.
We would rather say this plainly on the page you decide from than have you find it out afterwards.
